Ted Yost Titanium Commander
Up for sale is a very rare Ted Yost Commander built on a titanium lightweight frame. This gun was built in 2004.
This gun was last sold on 1911 Addicts back in 2017. It’s had a couple of owners and has been fired but it’s excellent condition, especially for a 21 year old gun.
Back in 2003 Mr. Yost commissioned a special order of 10 titanium frames from Caspian. He spilt the order with C.T. Brian. Mr. Yost kept and built 5 guns as did C.T. Brian.
This is the only one of the builds that I’m aware of that has Ted Yost’s signature “Y” engraved behind the rear cocking serration.

Vertical serrations on front strap and mains spring housing. These serrations are very crisp and aggressive.
